Part Time Fitness Instructor 

 
We are currently seeking a highly motivated, skilled and professional person to join our team. You will be responsible for the daily supervision of the gym at Duston Sports Centre operated by Northampton Leisure Trust, ensuring that excellent standards of service delivery are maintained. It will be your responsibility to promote a positive image of the Trust at all times. You will drive and deliver the product ensuring the Trilogy brand is at the forefront of all in meeting the aims and objectives of NLT. 
 
You will report to the Leisure Centre Supervisor / Duty Supervisor for this role. You will be responsible for the daily operations of a busy gym, including delivering inductions, programme reviews, gym challenges, functional small group training classes and building a friendly rapport with all customers. 
 
The successful candidate will possess a minimum Level 2 Fitness Instructors Gym qualification, along with knowledge and experience of operating a gym / fitness suite. You will need to have excellent communication and motivational skills, as well as possessing good technical ability. You will also need to be flexible and customer focused. You will need to work towards obtaining a Lifeguard and First Aid at Work qualification. 
 
This role is a permanent position, part time, 31.5 hours per week. You will be required to work on a rotating shift pattern including evenings and weekends.

Casual Fitness Instructors 

 
We are looking for qualified Fitness Instructors who are passionate about health & fitness. 
 
Are you positive? Proactive? Are you a fitness motivator? 
 
An important part of your role will be working on the gym floor building a friendly rapport with all customers to deliver great customer service. You will also be responsible for delivering inductions and advising members in the gym, delivering group fitness classes, being familiar and passionate about wearable technology, e.g. MYZONE. You will be responsible for the day to day operations which includes cleaning, reception/membership sales, maintenance and class cover. 
 
The ideal candidate must hold a Level 2 Fitness/Gym Instructing qualification and will ideally also hold one or more of the following: First Aid at work, Level 3 Personal Training, Group Exercise class qualifications, Level 3 Nutrition. 
 
You will need to be flexible in working shift patterns, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Have a positive attitude, be a team player, have great communication, motivation and customer service skills and have good sales qualities as selling memberships and collecting prospects is an important part of the job.

About the Role 
Board Members will have the experience and capabilities to guide the strategic direction of the Trust, with connections within the commercial and voluntary sectors. 
 
Board Members will attend approximately six meetings per year, and the Annual General Meeting. Meetings are held every other month, with each meeting typically running to about 1.50 hours. 
 
Board Members are appointed for a period of up to three years. Appointments are renewable for further fixed terms of up to three years. 
 
The roles are on a voluntary basis and are therefore not accompanied by any financial remuneration.

COOK - Full and Part Time Positions Available

Valid Food Safety & Hygiene certification would be advantageous.

You will report to the Soft Play Supervisor, supporting them in all daily operations.

About Kickstart...

Assistant Swimming Instructor x5

If you have a passion and talent for coaching, you could be part of our sports coaching and activator team help provide excellent physical activity opportunities for children and young people. 
 
This is a brand-new role to support and assist the work of our current sports coaching and activator team. If you would like the opportunity to gain a coaching qualification and additional employability training apply to become a Kickstart Assistant Sports Coach applicant. You will have the opportunity to a fully funded sports coaching qualification of your choice after a training needs assessment. This is in addition to a number of other qualifications to help advance your career in leisure and sports coaching. 
 
We are looking for applicants who are:

• Someone with an interest in sport coaching wanting to pursue a career in Leisure

Leisure Centre Supervisors (full & part time positions available) 

 
We are currently seeking highly motivated, skilled and professional pople to join our expanding team. You will be responsible for the daily supervision of centres operated by Northampton Leisure Trust, ensuring that excellent standards of service delivery are maintained. It will be your responsibility to promote a positive image of the Trust to our staff and to our customers at all times. You will drive and deliver the product ensuring the Trilogy brand is at the forefront of all in meeting the aims and objectives of NLT. 
 
You will report to the Duty Supervisor for this role. You will be responsible for the daily management of a busy centre, including opening and closing the facility. Operational tasks across the centre may include managing areas such as equipment setup, maintenance, storage, cleaning, staffing, ordering, training, administration tasks, driving membership sales, customer service and maintaining Health and Safety standards. Our ideal candidates will need to have strong leadership skills to drive, lead and motivate a team of staff. It will be your focus to ensure that your team is dynamic and competent at effectively delivering the product. 
 
The successful candidates will have relevant knowledge and/or transferable management experience. They will need to have excellent communication and leadership skills. They will also need to be flexible and customer focused. Applicants will need to work towards obtaining an NPLQ, First Aid at Work Certificate and Pool Plant Operators Qualification. A Leisure/Health & Fitness Qualification that is relevant to this role would also be desirable. 
 
This role is a permanent position. You will be expected to work on a rotating shift pattern including evenings and weekends

• Responsible for delivering creative and innovative classes in line with Trilogy Swim School scheme of works which follows the Swim England national plan for Teaching Swimming.

• Deliver great customer service by providing personal attention and care to all members. 
• Accurately complete records for the function to track attendance and improvements in swimming making sure individual, team and Swim School targets are being consistently met. 
 
You must have… 
• Swim England/ASA Level 2 in Teaching Swimming or STA Level 2 Certificate in Swimming Teaching Additional qualifications in Pre-School, Babies and Adults would be advantageous. 
• Exceptional communication skills and experience in a customer facing environment, able to respond appropriately & professionally to everyone you interact with in all manners. 
• An understanding of the Child Safeguarding Process

Essential…
